Taea Calcut was a Social Performance Consultant at MIX in Washington, DC from October 2009 to May 2010. Prior to joining MIX, Taea led social performance survey teams in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for FINCA International and managed Critical Half, a professional journal on gender, development, and post-conflict reconstruction published by Women for Women International. Taea holds a BA in Anthropology, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MS in Foreign Service with a concentration in International Development from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She also studied African affairs at the University of Ghana, Legon. Taea speaks English and French.
