Micol Pistelli

Micol Pistelli is the Manager of the Social Performance Standards Program at MIX and a member of the Social Performance Task Force Steering Committee.  Micol started to work in international development in 2003 for the Department of Development Cooperation at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  She has since worked as a microfinance consultant at the Italian Embassy in Egypt, Fundación Paraguaya in Paraguay, and the Microfinance Management Institute in Washington, DC.  At the MIX, Micol collects and analyzes data on social performance from MFIs and trains stakeholders on social performance data reporting.  Micol earned her BA in Political Science from the University of Bologna and her MA in International Economics and International Development from SAIS-Johns Hopkins University.  Micol speaks Italian, English, Spanish, French, and some Arabic.
